Warranty and Quality Guarantee from Chaplin Screens

Chaplin Screens agrees to abide by the “Consumer Guarantee Applying to Goods” as set out by the Office of Fair Trading.  In addition to the consumer guarantee, Chaplin Screens expressly warrants each supplied and installed product for the periods stated, from the date of purchase, except where the product has been misused, willfully damaged, worked on or tampered with by any person/s not authorized by Chaplin Screens to do so.

As part of this warranty, Chaplin screens will repair or replace any parts where necessary for the duration of the specified warranty period. Where a product is deemed as requiring replacement, Chaplin Screens will undertake the claims process, on behalf of its customer, to obtain a suitable resolve and outcome for the customer.

Chaplin Screens, backed by the ScreenGuard 10-year warranty from the date of installation, is warranted to be free of defects in materials and manufacturing when fabricated in accordance with the ScreenGuard fabricator instructions. This gives you peace of mind, that in any event, your first point of call, if you have any concerns, would be with Chaplin Screens directly, via the email admin@chaplinscreens.com.au   

 Warranty time frames

All locks, hinges, rollers, handles, door closers and hardware used for the installation are warranted and will be repaired or replaced, if defective in material or workmanship for a period of 12 months from the date of installation. In the event of a door closer being installed at the specific request of the customer, then this makes the 12-month warranty on hinges invalid. This warranty excludes all forms of screening mesh.

Stainless Steel

Stainless Steel is not stain free but stain less, compared to ordinary carbon steel. Tea staining is a natural process that may happen to stainless steel products if not cleaned regularly and pursuant to instructions. The Warranty therefore does not cover tea staining of Stainless-Steel products.
